I kept wondering what it would be like to have a butterflies life to live ... what would I say to the one i love ... and thats when 'One day is all I got to give' came out!I woke up today
To find love come gushing toward me

That love and life were both there for me to give
So I flew myself to you like butterflies after the drizzling rain do
To lush your beautiful smile that grows from aisle to aisle
I held u close to my eyes as I was ferried through to your heart
I wispered...
My heart's falling apart, One Day is all I got ...

Then I heard God speak to me
" Oh thee poor butterfly ! thine time is up"
But Lord!!! ... I cried out loud
She doesn't know how much I love
I have words I haven't said enough
love I haven't felt enough
And breathed my last on her breast .
